She has developed a complete telephone triage system including: training, guidelines, documentation and standards. The telephone triage protocols (or guidelines) include the essential decision support tools, a documentation form and practice standards. When combined with her training programs, the guidelines comprise a complete system of integrated, detailed telephone triage structure and processes.

EXPERT WITNESS CONSULTATION

  • Ms. Wheeler has served as a legal nurse consultant on over 30 telephone triage malpractice cases for both plaintiffs and defendants since 1995.  Her experience includes record review, written and verbal reports, depositions and testifying in court.
